Statistics January 2008

The holidays have been very good for the blog, which has seen almost all of its statistics improve at the beginning of the month (although little by little it has been losing steam).

According to Statcounter visits have increased compared to last month, with 117,689 page views (+15,072) and 72,161 unique visitors (+4,495), again improving the records of this blog.

Having changed hosting I have lost the AWStats data, so I cannot say what the most searched phrases have been like other months, although I do not think they have changed much taking into account the pages with the most visits (which you can check in the right sidebar).

The number of subscribers to the blog has also increased, reaching 184 (+47) maximum with an average of 155 (+34) daily with 36 by email (+16).

In Technorati the authority of the blog has risen to 200 (+9), with 849 ā€˜reactions’ (+134) and placing the blog in position 28,762 (-11,940).

Alianzo’s data has worsened considerably, with regard to Asturias, since the blog has dropped to position 23 (+17), while at the national level It goes down a lot, to position 804 (+552) (What the hell happened to Alianzo?).

On Alexa occupies the position 95,346 (-21,737), while it is the seventh page with the highest traffic in Asturias (-2) and third blog (-1).

My predictions for the following months are that if things continue as they have been, visits will decrease a little, because in the last days of the month I have seen that it is becoming more and more difficult to have a good number. And since I get a little tired of having to do these statistics every month, from now on I will publish the data quarterly, so there will not be new statistics until April.
