The first data have already been revealed about what will be the first Guitar Hero that will land on Nintendo DS, Nintendoās portable console, with a special peripheral included, which will undoubtedly greatly improve the gaming experience with respect to Jam Sessions, making it more realistic.
As you can see in the image above, the peripheral simulates the fret part of the guitar, but instead of the 5 buttons of its older sisters, it will only have 4, and to make the scrapes the console screen will be used as we saw in Jam Sessions. The game will have 20 songs (they seem few to me) from groups like Nirvana, Ok Go or No Doubt, as well as a local network multiplayer mode (And online? sniff!!).
In addition to only having 4 buttons, other new features that it includes are that to increase our star power, we will have to use the consoleās microphone (I wonāt be the one shouting in the streetā¦ Will it be worth blowing? :P), in addition, we will also use the screen to sign autographsā¦
The game is scheduled to be released this summer, and who knows, I may make room for it in my purchase plans :D
