Red Dead Redemption, THAT game

/ bocabit / videojuegos

At first, Red Dead Redemption looks too much like a GTA, but little by little you realize that it is much more, that it has much more depth, starting with the characters full of charisma, the great setting and ending with a completely… indescribable ending.

In the game we take the role of John Marston, a former outlaw who decides to abandon his life on the edge of the law for a life with his wife and son. However, the feds kidnap his family and force him to hunt down his former gang members. The entire plot takes place on the border between the United States and Mexico at the beginning of the 20th century, which is perfectly reproduced and truly evokes the sensations of finding ourselves riding through the Wild West.

Apart from the setting and the fun, the game has another characteristic that makes it essential: the duration. It seems to have taken me about 30 hours to complete (and I still had some side quests to complete). It also has a multiplayer mode that, although I haven’t tried it because my Live version has expired, they say it’s entertaining.

So, readers of this blog, owners of an Xbox 360 or a PS3, if you are planning to buy an entertaining and long game, I recommend Red Dead Redemption.
