Of all the grill that current television offers us, there is something that stands out above everything else: the series. They offer us a plot continuity superior to that of any production, being able to develop the plots more deeply, creating more personal involvement with the characters or managing to trap us week by week in their theme. Of all the series that exist, only a few are really worth it. Among them, Sons of Anarchy has it all.
Jackson “Jax” Teller, played by Charlie Hunnan, is the young vice president of a worldwide motorcycle club called Sons of Anarchy. The headquarters where it was founded is located in the fictional town of Charming, in northern California, and that is where the action takes place. The members of the club do not hesitate to cross the margins of the law to make a living, although their biggest business is arms trafficking. With the local police in their pockets, they confront other gangs or collaborate with them to bring their dark businesses to fruition. In Charming, bullets, explosions, reckonings, federal investigations and wild parties with alcohol and women are the order of the day. Because in addition to maintaining their illicit businesses, they are responsible for controlling the security of their town, going where the police cannot.
_But Jax finishes of being a father, which leads him to rethink the life of violence he leads and what he will transmit to his son. While all his family and friends put the interests of the club above anything else, Jax begins to doubt his past, present and future in _Sons of Anarchy. Everything is accentuated when he finds a manifesto written by his father, who died years ago, denying the path that the club that he founded with his friends was taking.
Sons of Anarchy, which in the United States is broadcast on the pay channel FX, has been on the air for three seasons, increasing its audience episode by episode. Despite being a not very well-known series, it overflows with quality in terms of its plot, script and performances. In fact, she just received her first Golden Globes nomination, going to actress Katey Sagal, who plays Gemma Teller, Jax’s mother and matriarch of the club. Nor is its magnificent soundtrack worth anything, full of great pieces of current and classic rock, adding a more frenetic rhythm to the footage of the chapter, if possible.
