Just think about it

Today I was pleasantly surprised by news that undoubtedly deserves a couple of words on my blog.

It turns out that a brain prosthesis has allowed a quadriplegic to carry out actions only by thinking about them. As? It may sound a bit harsh, but it basically involves drilling a hole in the person’s skull and connecting a microchip to the brain, which will first obtain information from the neural movements that occur when the patient wants to perform certain actions, and the programmers then carry out a program with said orders, allowing the person to do things that until now seemed futuristic, such as moving a robot with their mind or playing pong, among many others.

The news is already surprising in itself, but without a doubt these seven videos will leave more than one speechless.

A great step for science, medicine and computing. :)
