Yesterday I was lucky enough to go to the cinema to see ā300ā, the adaptation of Frank Miller of the comic of the same name, and I say lucky because it is a marvelous film, the best I have seen in a long time.
We went to see the movie at the IMAX, and since it was the premiere it was full of people, so we had to settle for sitting in the 5th row in front of a giant screen, which despite being very close, once you got used to it looked perfect.

Surely everything I say about the film you have already read on the internet or seen on television, but for the few who do not know what it is about I will say that it tells the story of how 300 Spartans led by Leonidas (Gerarld Butler) kept the Persian army of Emperor Xerxes ([Rodrigo] in check for a long time Santoro](https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0763928/ āLink to imdbā)) of more than 200,000 soldiers at Thermopylae.
300 is basically an action movie, but focused from the point of view of a comic, with typical scenes in which the charactersā thoughts can be heard. I think the uses of slowdowns are correct, since they are not particularly abused (It particularly reminded me of the game The Matrix: Path of Neo, since I slowed down time in the same way). For the sensitive ones who doubt whether to see it or not, I will say that it is not especially bloody although it does have somewhat harsh scenes (No more than any 3 in the afternoon news program).
The treatment of the image is very similar to the one we saw in Sin City, only this time, instead of the black color predominating, the yellow tones predominate. A curious fact regarding this is that the entire film is shot in chroma-key (Blue or green backgrounds subsequently generated by computer), and the truth is that the result cannot be better, because if they donāt tell you, you will probably think that the scenarios are real.
Needless to say, anyone who goes to see it thinking that they are going to find a historical film is going to be disappointed, because it is a film based on a comic and if it remains faithful to anything, it is to Frank Millerās novel and the Greek epic writings.
To finish, I have nothing left but to recommend the film, which, for me, is the best I have seen in a long time and I am convinced that it will not disappoint you.
