Linda Burnett, 23, a resident of San Diego (USA), went to a nearby supermarket to shop. Many people saw her sitting in the car with the windows up and her eyes closed, with both hands behind her head. A customer who had been in the supermarket for a while became worried and approached the car. He noticed that Linda had opened her eyes and looked strange. He asked her if she was okay, and Linda replied that she had been shot in the back of the head and that she had been holding her brain mass for an hour.
The man called a doctor, who had to break the window in order to get into the car, since the car was locked and Linda refused to take her hands off her head. When they finally got inside, they discovered that Linda had a blob of soft bun on her head.
A package of cookies had exploded due to the heat, making a loud noise, and the glop had hit him on the back of the head. When he touched himself to see what it was, he only felt something soft, so he thought it was his brain. He initially fainted, but quickly recovered and tried to hold his brain for over an hour until someone came to his aid.
Obviously, this story is an urban legend, like the girl with the curve, the dog and the jam or the boa constrictor. But that doesnāt make it any less funny. You probably donāt know anyone who knows a friend who has an acquaintance who had this happen to them because they are a little American but⦠What do you think about starting to spread it around?
