Everyone knows the love that some people have of doing everything possible to turn their consoles into the most original ones, completely modifying them and adding new functionalities and even turning huge consoles into portable ones. Here are the top 10 of the best modifications. 10. ColecoVision Portable
With a 16-color screen, you can play retro gems like ‘Donkey Kong’ or ‘Galaxian’. The creator of this modification is the famous Ben Heck, also creator of the NES Micro. To make it, he created his own case, designed his own controller, and after putting it all together, this was the result. It has A/V output and power input. 9. NEStation

Sega’s CDX was a console that combined the MegaDrive with the MegaCD in one console. This mod goes one step further as it is also capable of playing 32X games. Its main features are a 5” screen, a button to change the console region from Japanese to American and vice versa, two headphone inputs, S-Video output, FM radio and a socket to use an external controller.

A portable GameCube in all its glory. Its design may not be the best in the world, but I’m sure it’s very difficult to strike a balance between functionality and aesthetics. The only thing that is known about it is that it has ports for external controllers to allow multiplayer games and two speakers.
