Since writing for Ludoqia, I have started using bold more or less frequently in the entries, to highlight some of the most important words and give a bit of āfreshnessā to the text. And I think it works.
To tell the truth, I think it is much easier for the reader to read a text that has the important things in bold than if it does not, since in some way the bold is interpreted as if it were an underlining of the ones we do in books when we study. In this way, the reader fixes his gaze earlier on the key points of the text, more quickly getting an idea of āāwhat it is about.
But where is the limit for using bold? Well, I think the important thing is to not overload the text, because if it is overloaded it will be of no use, and the only thing we will achieve is confuse the reader. A good number of underlined words would be at most 3 in a paragraph of 50, although this is something personal that can vary a lot.
