The truth is that rarely have I been given something that made me as excited as the gift my girlfriend gave me the other day. Something Iāve been wanting to have for quite some time and that I simply love: a lava lamp.
A lamp of this style can be made of different materials, in this case distilled water and wax. At the base of the lamp there is a bulb that is responsible for illuminating and heating the wax. When the wax gets hot enough it rises to the top of the lamp, and when it cools it goes down again, which is why there are always bubbles rising and falling continuously, because those that rise are hot and those that fall are cold.
For anyone who wants to buy a lamp of this style, a recommendation: Donāt do it! They are like a drug and you will end up like me, staring at them for minutes and minutes :D
