Does reggaeton sound familiar to you? Yes, those songs with the same rhythm but with different lyrics (some say perrea, others gasoline and others flow) that became “fashionable” a while ago as a perfect excuse to rub in pubs and clubs…

Well, let’s do an exercise in imaginative acuity. I want you to try to visualize what that type of song would be like without vomiting lyrics, where explicit sexuality in the dance becomes sensuality (and the dancers do not perform, but instead play with the erotic without actually showing it to the viewer), all of this together with a rhythm that gives the songs the same base but that at the same time allows them to be different from each other. You have just discovered tango.
This dance, of Argentine origin, is an art and year after year there are many festivals where teams of couples compete against each other. But I am notably impressed by the acrobatic tango modality, where they do real virguerías, like the ones you can see in the following video:
After seeing this we could conclude with a statement: “Tango, the decent reggaeton”. What do you think?
