Allá por 1942, los Nazis habían ocupado la práctica totalidad de Europa. Durante esta ocupación, llevaban el terror y el miedo a pueblos y ciudades por medio de sus actividades totalitarias y sus saqueos. Este fue el caso de un pequeño pueblo Noruego, en el que un grupo de Nazis liderados por un Standartenführer de las S.S. que abusaba y mataba a los lugareños como le placía.
One day, the townspeople, tired of all these abuses, began to gather all the weapons they could and when night came they ambushed the Nazis, killing many of them and forcing the rest to escape to the icy cold Norwegian mountains, where they were never heard from again. Since then, they say that in the mountain there is an evil entity that kills everyone who dares to climb.
Under this preamble we are presented with Dead Snow, a movie about Nazi zombies that I saw the other day and that, far from being anything wonderful, perfectly fulfills its purpose of entertaining and giving a good time to those who find it on the internet (impossible to do it any other way, believe me).
Directed by Norwegian Tommy Wirkola, it is a film that seeks to entertain without any major pretensions. Although at first it is not entirely clear what we can expect from it and where it wants to go, it soon takes as a reference a mythical film like Evil Dea**d, to which there are continuous nods and from which they borrow some elements (the quick zooms especially caught my attention). Dark humor, gore, zombies and Nazis
