Skeptics is a new ETB program, directed by JosƩ A. PƩrez of Mi Mesa Cojea and presented by L.A. GƔmez from Magonia. This program aims to deal with science from an informative point of view and be suitable for the whole family, and in my opinion it achieves this with flying colors in its first chapter, focused on the trip to the Moon.
I found the program very entertaining and like a fool I spent the half hour that it lasted glued to the screen browsing while scientific explanations were given about each and every one of the reasons why man has been on the Moon. Apparently, the program was very well received in terms of viewers when it was broadcast on television, so I am looking forward to new episodes.
It is very appreciated that television takes such an important step in scientific dissemination, managing to put vulgarity and bad taste aside. Now we just have to hope that other channels get on the bandwagon and make more programs like this, which serve to bring people out of ignorance (something very difficult, Iām afraid) and that in the process entertain.
