The good thing about this method is that it is the most reliable of all systems since it does not modify the baseband (portion of the firmware responsible for the interaction of the operating system with the telephone part of the device). To jailbreak our device using Pwnage Tool, just download the program from the official website and search for the firmware that we want to update through iTunes or a firmware repository page such as this. Once the entire screen-guided process has been followed, in iTunes we will select restore the device by holding down the alt/option key.
Jailbreaking a device is not the same as hacking it nor does it have anything to do with piracy.
