The Fallopia Multiflora (Polygonum multiflorum) may be one of the strangest plants I have ever seen. It is a plant widely used in China, used due to its beneficial properties, such as toning the kidneys, fortifying bones or for its laxative effect. However, what draws the most attention about it are not its properties (because a cabbage surely has similar properties) but because its roots have the appearance of children or little trolls.
