Para todos los usuarios de Twitter, utilizar un cliente supone una ventaja bastante importante si lo comparamos con utilizar la página web. Entre estas ventajas, una muy interesante es poder silenciar tuits sobre una determinada temática o que contengan una palabra concreta.
I am going to explain how to do it in what for me is the most complete application to use Twitter on iOS: Tweetbot. It is a button shaped like a speech bubble with an “x” in the middle, which can go a little unnoticed because you have to hold it down for it to appear.
Once pressed, it will take us to a screen where we can “mute” or silence hashtags, tweets in which certain words or users in general appear, all this allowing us to establish how long we want to silence them.
No more tweets of people complaining about football or talking about Wii on your timeline :)
