Después de una buena temporada metiéndole caña, por fin he terminado de leer los 8 libros de la saga The Expanse (serán 9 una vez se publique el último a finales de año) y creo que puedo decir sin equivocarme que entra al top de mis libros favoritos, posiblemente por delante de Juego de Tronos.
The Expanse is a science fiction novel that tells of the conflicts between Earth, Mars and the Belt after humanity has colonized the entire solar system. The discovery of the proto molecule, capable of altering the laws of physics known until now, will change all the rules of the game and conflicts will only increase.
As of today, the first 6 are available in Spanish, while I have read 7 and 8 in English and there are also some short stories that serve to get deeper into the universe of the series (not in Spanish either).
The television series, owned by Amazon after being canceled by SyFy, is nothing to write home about and in my opinion it is a bit slow, but the special effects and characterizations are very successful.
Let’s see what I read now until the last book comes out :)
