Lastly, the series with the best plot of all I have seen. Of course, I’m talking about Lost. The following text contains spoilers about the plot of the third season, so if you continue reading it is at your own risk.

Well, the truth is that I was speechless while watching the final double episode (and after watching it as well). As Maca said, this time it was not a flashback like in the rest of the previous chapters, but rather a flashforward. To tell the truth, they are not flashbacks, they are past events that condition the actions of the characters on the island. In this case it is the other way around: what happens on the island conditions what happens in the ā€œflashforwardā€.

The truth is that it is impressive how they have meticulously thought out each and every one of the things that exist and happen on the island (Okay Miguel, now you can say that the van chapter was not filler xD). What this chapter makes you wonder is… Who really are the bad guys?

The ambush on ā€œthe othersā€, Sawyer’s phrase: ā€œI didn’t believe himā€, the appearance of Walt (No, not Disney), the flooding of the hatch with one last heroic act by Charlie when he told Desmond that it was not Penny’s ship and the conversation via video conference with Penny. Locke’s knife and the phrase: ā€œOf course we can! Wait.ā€ The drunk and emaciated Jack… All great.

My verdict: Although the series has some slow and boring episodes, most of them are a masterpiece, as I am not afraid to describe this season finale. Awesome. I’m already looking forward to returning to the island. :)
