Finally the wait is over! The creator of the game himself, Yu Suzuki, has revealed how he intended to end the Shenmue saga.
After almost a decade of waiting for thousands of followers, Yu Suzuki himself has revealed it in a video for the GDC Choice Awards.
Now, seriously, a few days ago Yu Suzuki gave a small glimmer of hope to the players who are looking forward to trying Shenmue III to discover the outcome of a great story.
I think Sega is going to let me make Shenmue III.
Itās not much, but itās something. Especially after knowing that the production cost of Shenmue was not 70 million dollars as Sega said, but was about 47 million according to Yuās own words.
This is probably one of the games that I have been looking forward to most for many years, since the ending of the second installment is so open, which is very disappointing.
Who knows, maybe one day he might end up making the game xD
